I hoped to see them at least one last time early next year in Florida.
Oh well boys. What a career.

Great live band. Saw them on the Permanent Vacation tour with Dokken and again a few years later with The Black Crowes and Metallica.

They were supposed to have a show in February for Louisville at the Yum! Center which got moved back to September. It was going to coincide with Day 1 of Louder Than Life at the fairgrounds. I guess hotel rooms will open up for more festival attendees.
My favorite Aerosmith stuff was the music videos with Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler. They had great 90’s music videos.

Outstanding live band even well into their 70’s

Gotta respect them hanging it up instead of putting out a sub par product that still would have sold a shite ton of tickets like many bands from that era have been doing

“Toys in the Attic” one of the greatest albums ever recorded….

I was local crew back in 80's when Aerosmith played the Cajundome. Cool dudes. Great musicians. I was all about guitar, so Perry was an influence after being exposed to Toys and Rocks, but Whitford was a force.
ETA: Steve Hunter played some of the riffs/solos on Train Kept A-Rollin (Get Your Wings).

They packed it in a long time ago with shite like Angel and I Don't Want To Miss A Thing and Cryin' and every other Top 40 pop hit they had after their little hiatus in the early 80's.

My first concert- 6th grade- Centroplex. Someone passed me a joint. Dad was amused. Not a top 200 band for me but great memories.

Saw them a lot back in the 70s and 80s. They were sloppy and good back in the day. I think I last saw them off of Done with Mirrors with Ted Nugent.
Once they hooked up with Run DMC they were artistically done.

Saw them in 93’ in Biloxi. Megadeath opened for them and blew the roof off. Aerosmith was decent but it was during the Get a Grip tour and even then , Steven Tyler had to rest after every 3 or 4 songs.
