Do you think LSU makes the 12 team playoff this year?

I think we make the playoff. Just can’t lose any games we are not supposed to lose. Cant say I am a fan of the opener being USC. I like having a cupcake to iron out any wrinkles.

We finished 12th last year. Losing JD5 is going to have a big impact. I'd say it's about 40/60 chance knowing what we know now.

Yes imo. I say we get an at large between the 5-11 seed. Honestly I think the SEC is going to be guaranteed 4 teams every year in this new format and maybe 5 sometimes depending upon how things shake out and the overall strength of the league. I think 5 make it this year; Texas, Georgia, Bama, LSU, and Ole Miss. Then 3 from the Big 10; Ohio State, Oregon, and one of USC/Penn State/ Michigan. The winner of the Big 12 (KSU or Okie State). And 2 ACC (Clemson and NC State). And the one automatic G5 team is my best guess.

Kelly better get this team in the playoffs in year 3. His seat will be heating up pretty quickly if he doesn't.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I’ve predicted “yes” @ 10-2. I think we roll into ole miss undefeated. In the meantime, our young D linemen begin to develop and add needed depth. I think our balanced offense can overcome some of the D-ficiencies in the early going.
Idk who the losses are. I don’t do the “win”, “lose” thing while going through the schedule. Sports doesn’t work out that way. Ie-2022 lose to fsu/beat Bama. Things don’t usually work out on paper. That’s why we watch sports.

I agree that 4-5 SEC teams each year will make it. I think this year there are 7-8 SEC teams that have a chance. Georgia, Ole Miss, Mizzou, LSU, Tennessee, Bama, Texas, Oklahoma are what I would consider playoff contenders. It’s really just going to come down to a few big games between the 4 & 5 teams.

We have the roster to make it...It's on BK. I think a lot of people have become complacent and satisfied with winning a 10th game in a meaningless bowl game.
