Trump had a runway to an easy win

He survived an assassination attempt with one of the most iconic images in American History. Anyone with an ounce of discipline rides that all the way into Election Day with a campaign that stays on message.
He couldn’t last three weeks. Heck, he couldn’t even last 5 days. His convention speech started off spectacular and then he went wildly off script on his teleprompter, which is fine, but it doesn’t keep the golden momentum going for you.
I give him credit for going to this questionnaire today and agree with a lot of his answers, but it’s not doing him any favors with independents or people that were on the fence about voting for him. The people on this board aren’t the voters that he’s trying to win.
It’s extremely frustrating having a candidate with no discipline shoot himself in the foot with the golden runway to the White House that he had.
It’s shite like today and shite like the first debate in 2020 against Biden where he couldn’t stop talking that drives a lot of people away from voting for him.

And all it took was,”hey look, we have a fake black woman”, and there was a stampede back to the plantation of black voters and white, suburban, alcoholic housewives. It’s amazing to me how simple the mind is of most Americans.
