I would view this as the worst VP option for Harris to choose from out of the other noted leaders. Good....

If he gets the VP gig he should be forced to get castrated in public at the DNC Convention.

Can he deliver Kentucky for the Dems? I wouldn’t think so, but what do I know. He was a Covid authoritarian.

How often have VP candidates actually won a state for their presidential race that wasn’t already in the bag had they not been on the ticket?

He won't be able to deliver Kentucky to Harris... but much like Vance for Trump... he's meant to talk to those other Midwest states (PA, WI, MI, MN) and help spread his party's message there

Would mean someone who could've be more helpful to Kamala (like Shapiro) told her no thanks

Trump will win this state by 20+ with or without Beshear.

Would be a tremendous waste for the dems. Trump won Kentucky by 26 points in 2020. He only lost the counties Louisville is in and Lexington is in. I am not sure where else he really helps you. OH maybe, but that’s out of play. He’s not going to help in MI, WI, or PA.

How did he win Governor in the first place? I’m not being obtuse, I truly want to know. I was surprised when Kentucky voted him in.

If he is the pick, several others declined.

Teachers came out heavy for him and former Governor Matt Bevin could not get out of his own way.

No. He's a mildly conservative Democrat, but supports abortion at every level, and him speaking for Harris will frustrate 25% of his base. Not sure how he helps her win anything.

No. He has pissed off a lot of people with his crybaby speech in Iowa on paying student debt. Coal miners, farmers, factory workers, tradesmen, truck drivers, don’t want to hear that crap. He has lost the working man and most people that paid their debts. Kentucky is solidly based.

Trump by twenty points in Kentucky with Beshear on the ticket.

Beshear kept Kentucky locked down for over a year and allowed state troopers to track people going to church by patrolling parking lots.

He doesn’t respect your civil liberties.
