Just disgusting how some will harp on slavery from over 100 yrs ago, but be fine with the open border that permits and encourages sex slaves by the 1000's every week.
Every person alive right now has slaves somewhere in their ancestry. It is just a matter of when. African slaves aren't even the most recent example or the most brutal (re: Slavs).

It almost broke up the republic 70 years into its existence and slave ownership was used as a gaslighting factor for the war. Same problems persist now, just evolved into something more insidious.
