I finally got the work done after registering for the program 6 months ago.
Workers from an energy efficiency company performed the following: checked windows for air leaks, installed high-grade plastic weather stripping on all outside doors & the laundry room door, put a sealant material on all connections on the ducts in the attic to eliminate air leakage, installed weather stripping on the attic pull-down entrance, checked the a/c unit outside for leaks and performed an air flow test on the inside of the house before and after the work. I have a 2100 sq ft brick house in North Kenner.
All this was done at no cost.
The phone # for Entergy Solutions is 844-829-1300 option 3.

according to their website it is limited to very low income households

Maybe it's different by date but I've had the same but completed on 3 different visits. I didn't get as thorough of weather stripping though.

Not true about limited to low income households.
I am way above the income limit and still got it done.

I did this when we first got our house about 8 or so years ago. I could immediately tell a difference in the temperature inside. The guy who did the work was really top notch and spent like two hours in the attic in July.
We live in New Orleans though and it looks like there are income qualifications for the NOLA program now. So glad we got it done when we did.

What kind of work did the guy do in the attic?

Duct sealing, I believe. I didn’t go up there with him.
