Pretend I stand right at the middle. Convince me why I should vote for Kamala or whomever the Democrats ultimately nominate.

This is not meant to bait. I’m not going to argue or even respond to this thread from this point.

I’m asking that no arguments or criticisms, name calling, etc. are offered by those voting for Mr. Trump. Only responses from Democrats, please.

So seriously put forth your best arguments for why you are voting for Kamala and why I should too, no holds barred. Use whatever basis you want. I genuinely want to know.

Go…

ETA: Thread title edited to clarify the goal of the thread.

Ok, I said I wouldn’t reply to any of the Democrat responses to this thread, but I’m bumping since none have replied.

Last call if any of our friends on the left want to share their reasons for voting for Kamala/Democrat policy/platform.

I’ve seen maybe one or two people here unironically posting in favor of Kamala, so you’ll prolly have to wait a while.

I think that number is a little bit higher than one or two, but we’ll see.

I’d genuinely like to know the reasoning anyone is willing to share, so I’m hoping to get some feedback. If not, fair enough, we’ll just let the thread die and move on. No harm no foul.

Resident Democrats

Who are these “resident Democrats” you speak of ? I check out this board maybe twice a month.. I’ve seen a TON of hardcore right wing christian conservatives, and maybe a smattering of Moderates.. I can’t recall ever seeing a “Liberal” or a “democrat” in any thread on this board….. I myself am a Registered Independent (#humblebrag) since the late 1900s, and as I mentioned im hardly ever here- but i think some of y’all vastly overestimate the number of people on this forum who think any differently than y’all think .

The Democrat campaign is pretty simple.

She's not Trump.

There are hours and hours of videos showing Trump gaffes, Trump physical frailty and Trump statements that are not things most want a president saying.

Kamala's campaign will be to show that and say "I'm not that. Vote for me."

Trump will work to make people think she's a worse choice. He was able to do that with Biden, but very little of that work will help him going forward. He has to start over.

This election is simply going to be attacks. Neither candidate will try to convince anyone to vote FOR them. They're trying to convince people in the middle to vote AGAINST their opponent.

So asking for someone to convince you to vote FOR Harris or FOR Trump for that matter is silly. Nobody who isn't already 100% on board is going to be convinced by that from either candidate.

Fair enough, perhaps a poor choice of words. How about “people who are voting for Kamala/Democrat nominee”. That better?

You obviously don’t read this board often then.

There’s at least a dozen far left regular posters on here and several that post occasionally.

BamaAtl, TBoy, tarzana, texridder and VOR are a few that come to mind. They’re slightly to the right of Stalin and Mao.

It’s hypothetical. I’m pretty certain I know why some will vote Democrat. I’m really looking to see what might be beyond that. But I don’t expect to get that feedback at this point.

That's it. That's the campaign. And it may very well convince a majority of swing voters.

Marxists don’t have to convert anybody. You’ll be forced to participate in the redistribution of wealth.
