The home slate this year happens to be twice as appealing as the home slate last year. Bama, Ole Miss, and Oklahoma should all be huge. Last year Florida, Aggie, Auburn, and Arkansas all had down years. Plus we get UCLA OOC at home.

Now factor in the schools can pay players directly now and that money has to come from somewhere, and some major stadium renovations for the 100 year anniversary of the stadium. Yeah sounds about right to me.

LSU brought in record revenues in 2024. They have the money.

Now they might not be able to hire 19 WBB coaches or 20 football analysts, or 10 asst. ADs and 20 associate ADs, but I think they will manage somehow.

Wait until right before kickoff. They will be way cheaper.

Got tickets to the Alabama game. Might be the only game I make this year.

This year? Have been crazy for many years. Appalling. As long as people keep buying they will keep raising.

I will keep buying my tickets every year and I will keep supporting our athletics program.

$1,000 for a family of 4 to see an SEC football game in the upper decks is absolutely insane.

Regular people can no longer afford it…hence the stadium emptying at halftime.

You really think the school was going to pay for these upgrades at the stadium?

That makes no sense. If you spend $250 a ticket, you'll suck up the last 90ish minutes if you care about money at all. "Regular" people aren't buying those tickets anyway, they're spending 5 figures on a boat, then bitching about how they can't afford tickets.

But y'all got your LEDs and giant Coke boards. What a win. Paying for the player pods in the locker room I don't mind.
