Anyone else experience tremendous guilt after eating?

I do. If I eat something entirely unhealthy I feel like shite. I just went through the $5 at McDonalds. I'd say some guilt is normal but it sticks to me. Any advice from people that have gone through this. I can't enjoy much unless it's the weekends.

Sunday night drive thru should make you feel bad. Terrible way to start the week my brother.
Try a nice home cooked meal next Sunday. Set the tone for the week.

Sounds like a Psych issue, some sort of self esteem thing or you have some sort of binge eating history/body image issue… or your trolling. Just go work out tomorrow and you’ll feel better

At least you didn’t fool around - you went right for the unhealthy thing. It’s a bigger problem if you try to satisfy the urge with snacks and then finally give in and eat the bad thing.

In many behaviors we often experience this dichotomy of things we want now and things we want in the future (Time paradox by Phillip Zimbardo) For me, the desire to eat or binge in the moment is so innate, like nothing I’ve ever wanted more. It makes me really question if my future desires are even authentic (like Kafkas point of puritan streak)
