How does Trump ever trust his SS detail EVER again..What a scary place for him to be.

He needs private security for the rest of his life...how does he trust any of these people....they let a guy with a rifle climb on a roof 50 yards away from the former President.

Have you ever worked in a situation like SS?
It is virtually impossible to cover every scenario. I’ve planned out security details and there is no way I could ever have a staff to make sure every thought I had was covered.

YES…I have. Worked the 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020 campaigns as surge supporting Secret Service.
High ground is ALWAYS covered within 500 yards minimum by SS CAT. Further out is handled by State and Local SWAT.
So you’re 100% wrong on this.

If shooter was on that roof, secret service failed! No way anyone should have been allowed on a rooftop long enough to get a shot off before being taken out.

I talked to local LE when Trump came to my hometown for a rally. Heavily wooded area surrounded the rally site. Anyone could have climbed a tree and took a shot. When talking to my LE friend about it said he couldn’t say with 100% certainty but he believed thermal was being used to scan the tree lines during the rally.
SS was also scouting the area WEEKS before the event.
