Number one for me is:
2000 Oakland A’s:
Mark Mulder
Barry Zito
Tim Hudson
Those A’s teams were fun to watch.
2. 2009 Philadelphia Phillies:
Pedro Martinez
Cole Hamels
Cliff Lee
3. 1987 Minnesota Twins:
Steve Carlton
Bert Blyleven
Frank Viola
Honorable Mention:
2001 Atlanta Braves:
Greg Maddux
Tom Glavine
John Smoltz

Astros 2019 was remarkable
Gerrit Cole 6.5 WAR
Justin Verlander 7.3 WAR
Zack Greinke 5.4 WAR (only 1.1 was with the Astros but he went 8-1 in 10 games, with a 3.02 ERA and 1.07 WHIP)
ETA: AJ Hinch

Whoever was the third pitcher with Verlander and Scherzer. Or Johnson and Schilling.

He used a rotation where one guy had nine starts and another had an era over 4. He's trolling.

The Orioles had four 20-game winners one season: Palmer, McNally, Cuellar, and Dobson.
'69 Mets had Seaver, Koosman, and Ryan.

As much as I dislike the Braves, that rotation should be #1 and it shouldn't be a discussion.

And a Braves season where Smoltz was primarily a reliever (and not close to his best year as a reliever), not one of the seasons in the 90s when Maddux, Glavine and Smoltz all had below 3 ERAs as starters

Not a Braves fan, but this would be my #1.

That was Pedro's last year. He was a shell of himself. If you have to put a Phillies squad, the better trio is Halladay, Lee, and Hamels, in 2011.

Really odd to use this season when Smoltz wasn’t really a starter or closer yet and both Maddux and Glavine were 35 years old.
The 1998 Braves rotation was downright stupid
Maddux 18-9 2.22 ERA 251 IP 0.98 WHIP 187 ERA+
Glavine 20-6 2.47 ERA 229 IP 1.20 WHIP 168 ERA+
Smoltz 17-3 2.90 ERA 167 IP 1.12 WHIP 144 ERA+
13 complete games with 10 shutouts between the three of them
Throw in Kevin Millwood and Denny Neagle as your 4/5 starters and that rotation combined for 88 wins with a cumulative 2.97 ERA

2002 was the best year for that A's trio.
but I still like the Braves group for the longevity of their careers and that they stayed together for 10 years, although Smoltz moved to a closer during that time.

While he isn't a focus, Tejada was played by former major league shortstop Royce Clayton.

Which is funny because in the movie The Rookie, Dennis Quaid (Jim Morris) struck out Royce Clayton, who was played by some no name actor.
