Will never convince me otherwise.
Out of nowhere, the Socialist Communists won!

EDIT to add the words of the Communist fricker in charge:
socialist-communist New Popular Front alliance is his party.

Marine Le Pen’s National Rally (RN), which won the first round of voting last week, was relegated to third place, with between 132 to 152 seats. Finally, the centre-right Les Républicains are projected to have won between 57 to 67 seats
Out of nowhere, the Socialist Communists won!

The socialist-communist New Popular Front alliance has come out on top in the final round of snap legislative elections called by French President Emmanuel Macron, who sided with the far-left to thwart Marine Le Pen’s populist party.
According to the initial Ipsos exit poll, the New Popular Front, led by Jean-Luc Mélenchon — often dubbed France’s Bernie Sanders — will win between 172 and 192 seats, the most of any parliamentary group. The far-left did not secure enough votes for an absolute majority of 289.
Meanwhile, President Macron’s coalition is projected to win between 150 and 170 seats, meaning that he will likely have to pair with the far left to continue governing the country.

wait....last I saw a few hours ago Le Pen was a sure fire win. I saw some X posts say they were going to rig it so she loses with another party joining this or that.

This could be a very bad development for France. Either plunge them under the rule of authoritarians or into a violent revolt.

It's the same story over and over again.
In the UK, Labour has a massive majority with less than 34% of the vote
In France, Macron will ally to give the communists a massive majority to change the country because he hates the right.
In both cases there are "moderates" who are sheep voting for the "Center" enabling those centrists leaders to sell them downstream.

She was never a win
Getting the most seats doesn't mean you win in a Parliamentary system, unless "the most seats" is the absolute majority.

Marine Le Pen's far-right National Rally party suffered a disappointing loss in the French parliamentary elections, garnering only 120 to 150 seats in the National Assembly, the lower house of parliament - far less than polls predicted. The alliance of left-wing parties, the "New Popular Front," which also includes extreme left-wing parties, is expected, according to the models, to become the largest faction in parliament, with 180-215 seats. President Emmanuel Macron's alliance of centrisy parties stands where it has for years with 150 to 180 seats.

Break out the yellow vests.., again!

The center and left parties dropped out of the runoffs to allow this to happen. It’s tactical voting, not stealing.

Well I guess that’s the end of any discussion.
Sometimes you win… sometimes you don’t. France going leftward shouldn’t exactly be a shock though.

In France, that's about right.
And they clearly stated the New Popular Front contained "extreme left wing" parties.
I don't think their actual Communist parties got many votes. I haven't seen the "other" broken down in any detail yet, but that likely contains the actual Communists.

Anyone who believes in fiscal or cultural sanity should be leaving France immediately. France is a powder keg right now. The UK is in a bad situation, but nowhere else in Europe are there as many immigrants who openly despise their hosts and are hostile to their host's culture as there are in France. The left will only stoke these tensions even further, blaming the native French and not the 3rd worlders being imported daily. There will be widespread armed conflict in France within the next 10 or 15 years.
