LSU Baseball Portal Transfer

Is CJJ still trying to pick up any more transfers. It’s been crickets for a couple of weeks now! It appears will still need a 3B and SS, another LH pitcher and maybe another catcher!

I was told that everyone at D1 Baseball picked us to be in Omaha next year and we shouldn’t be worried

This is false. Players just had to be in the portal by yesterday. They have time to commit to a new school.

It was my understanding no more players can enter the portal after midnight July 2nd, but if you entered and are already in the portal, you can still sign with anybody! Correct me if I’m wrong. There’s still a lot of players in the portal who have not committed to another team

Entering the portal closed, but there are still plenty of players left in the portal.
Also, any coaching changes means a team's players have 30 days to transfer.

You're correct. The probem is, the players are all trapped in there and no one can figure out how to get them out.

Portal closing only refers to new players entering the portal. Players who are in it have no deadline to sign other that being on the roster for competition by whatever that date is. I would assume they have to be enrolled in school for the term to be eligible.

I haven’t seen one player worth a damn leave!! Any player with a pulse still on the team lol.
