Removing Bermuda from St Aug Lawn

I was told that a new product has recently come out that can remove Bermuda from a St Aug lawn. Recognition by syngenta mixed with Fusilade II. Naturally in South LA I have Bermuda coming into my st Aug yard. Anyone heard of these new products and/or tried them?

We moved into a place that had a patch of Bermuda grass in one section and the St. Augustine has nearly taken it over.
Has anyone else seen healthy St. Augustine eradicate Bermuda grass on its own?
ETA: that patch of Bermuda grass was in an area with zero shade. The St. Augustine runners tore through it like knives through butter.

Yes. Let the SA get 5-6 inches then mow it down to 4 for a couple of months and it should shade out the B.

Kashmir's philosophy is right.
You should be mowing high for St. Augustine anyway, but yes, the tall SA blades will block adequate sunlight for the bermuda to grow.
The shorter you cut your SA the more you will encourage the bermuda.

Interesting. Is the same true with zoysia? Mow it at 3 or 3.5" and let it shade out the Bermuda? I currently cut at 2.5 and last year was at 3" and it did alright.

I do know that Zoysia can be kept as low as Bermuda, but I do t know if it likes 4” as much as St Aug.
Just not that familiar with Zoysia.

If the St Aug is healthy it should choke out everything else.
