I really enjoyed it. Kurt Russell was awesome and so was Kilmer as Doc Holliday.

The plot was bizarre and felt like had segments cut out of it at some points but I honestly don’t care. It was a fun western and I don’t need to think too hard about it.

Definitely an enjoyable movie.

Saw it for the first time a few months ago. He does the whole "and hell's coming with me" then they just kinda yada yada him taking them down with a montage.

I didn’t see this movie until I was in my early 30s, but agree it’s very enjoyable and rewatchable.

However, I have a large group of friends/acquaintances for whom this is their Godfather or Goodfellas, and I just can’t put it on that level or even in the same tier.

I don't consider this GoodFellas or The Godfather but I have seen it conservatively 20 times and can quote large portions of the movie.

It’s not the Godfather. But I’ve watched it more times than the Godfather. Make of that what you will

Its one of those movies that gets better the more you watch it. (Like The Godfather and Goodfellas)

Been saying this for years and I always get destroyed. Totally agree though. It's a fun, good movie, but it's basically a 90s action movie set in the old west.

Totally agree with this statement. Yes, it's a good movie, but it is filled with every Western movie cliche around and a lot of the acting is over the top.
It is not near as good as Unforgiven or Open Range.

This stupid anticlimactic montage always bothered me, otherwise a great movie. Why they felt the need to rush though what should have been a series of great shootouts and western action, I'll never know. Replace the montage with a couple of set pieces, maybe 10 minutes more of movie time. Then roll in to Val Kilmer's final showdown as the coup de gras.

This has been one of my all time favorite westerns. I love the one liners and quotes from it.

The Kevin Costner version of Wyatt Earp is just as good. I say Tombstone is better IMO.

Tombstones one of my favorite movies. I was surprised how good it was when I first saw it. Wasn't sure they could still make good westerns.

I'm pretty sure there were production problems or something with the movie so that could be related, but I agree it would have been better if they had shown more scenes of them taking out Cowboys.

I watched Silverado for the first time a couple months ago.

I hated it. It felt very cliched and campy.
I usually like Costner. I know he was young and it was one of his first movies, but I hated him in this.
