They’re going to do whatever they can at this point. It’s desperation.

They'll put him in Rikers so he can't video campaign from House Arrest, too.

All part of the plan. They are cornered right now. They will bite...

That was always the case in my mind. He will serve time. They are desperate and tonight makes it worse.

Jailing him would just make him more popular.

Nah. Any jail sentence would be stayed by an appeal.

They can’t jail him. It’s an impossibility due to his secret service detail. They’ll keep him in court as much as they can but they won’t jail him

I think the odds of Merchan sentencing Trump to serve some jail time definitely went up tonight.

They’ve talked about putting him in a secluded and solitary wing of a prison with secret service.

They can do it.

Nope still can’t do it. There’s wayyyy more to secret service than putting him in a large room

Thats a bold move, considering when Trump wins, he controls lawfare. And incoming charges of election interference send some DAs and judges to Club Fed

Secret Service won't allow it. That would go immediately to SCOTUS for an emergency stay or appeal.

And then Trump would appeal even more to all those poor innocent families of people wrongfully imprisoned by an unfair justice system. He can feel their pain, and will make it a point to fix it.

If he serves time his popularity will skyrocket, Dems can’t be that stupid.

Yeah, the optics were terrible to begin with but when you add on this debate and all of the talking points of the aftermath it looks even worse.

Then January 6th will look like a back yard barbecue compared to what will happen.
