President Reagan and the military

I proudly served aboard the USS Constellation CV-64, which President Reagan proclaimed “America’s Flagship.” Always thought he was a great, level headed leader.

I was in dress whites and present for the Stark memorial. We were leaving for deployment in 10 days. Heard Reagan tell our skipper "take care of our boys over there" and after he was away from prying eyes and cameras and getting ready to go back to air force 1 he stopped hugged Nancy and he had tears streaming down his face.

After that I was certainly ready for whatever deployment or life would throw at me. I lost a classmate on the Stark, as a 23 year old to see all those young families torn apart and the looks of bewildered disbelieving looks so many had still is fresh in my mind.

Pretty sure Reagan did not consider KIA, POW or wounded in action to be “suckers and losers”.

LIFELONG Republican and I completely agree. Both of them are blemishes on the GOP (which has been hijacked by a bunch of loons).

The same can be said for the Democratic Party, I’ll take those two women over the likes of what has become of the Democrat Party. The Democratic Party lost all credibility when the people that they trout out started supporting the mentally ill idea that people can pretend to switch genders. Most of these people have No problem with exposing children to that abomination of a lifestyle and actively try to indoctrinate them into it. These same people have now become and act like the same people they claim to hate when it comes to the Jewish People.
