Newsweek

Yeah, right. From woke Newsweek. I’m sure it’s not biased.

I really hope this is signaling good rulings on Chevron, Presidential Immunity and the application of Section 1512(c) of the Sarbanes Oxley Act to J6 defendants.

This is the potential judicial trifecta this week. We need it.

Wonder how the people felt when Moses handed down the law thousands of years ago?
I personally know several Judges who are pleased with the current direction of the SCOTUS!!

There is a growing chorus of Supreme Court critics coming from within the judiciary.

Among those critics are retired Judge David S. Tatel. A Clinton appointee who served for nearly 30 years

I guess within has a different definition than it used to.

They can't handle the court taking away their power by setting precedent of not legislating from the bench.

What a joke of an article. It is the lower courts, especially the D.C. Circuit, that have been thoroughly corrupted. IMO, the SCOTS of the US should be doing even more to reign in these clowns.

The article is not balanced and unconvincing since the judges interviewed were Democratic appointees.

I didn’t know this is what they were using.

This seems way way worse. This was so you can be charged destroying evidence like people at Arthur Andersen did during the Enron scandal.

Our government is so corrupt.

What Enron and Andersen did was much worse than protesting at the capital.

quote:

The firm's legal department manager, Nancy Temple, and the lead partner for the Enron account, David Duncan, were named as the responsible managers in the scandal for ordering subordinates to shred the documents. However, in 2005, the United States Supreme Court unanimously overturned the conviction, finding that the jury instructions did not properly convey the law. Chief Justice William Rehnquist wrote for the court that federal law requires consciousness of wrongdoing for conviction, and that merely impeding an investigation is not criminal.

Alito was right in his nuclear dissent. The majority punted when there was actually a "there" there.

Hoping that was the disappointing goal line fumble before padding stats and running up the score. The remaining rulings are colossal.

Censorship case will be coming back. A the Supreme court was deciding ....Another District Court had a case before them with absolute proof of White House and Democratic coercion. That was revealed minutes after the Supreme court had issued this finding .......
