Trump lives rent free in the heads of Late Night Comedy Shows

Holy moly, Trump isn't even the president yet, and the election isn't for 5 more months but 95% of the content on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel is about Trump. These guys have 0 other content besides trying to find any manipulated NY Times articles to point anything they can get.
Never seen someone live rent free in their head as much as Trump does for Seth Meyers or Jimmy Kimmel.
One clip today in trying to say Trump wasn't good for the economy was about how Trump increased millionaires wealth in his term, well I'm sure the same is true for Biden. Millionaires have money to invest. I believe mentioned tax breaks to millionaires was a point, if so I don't care bc he did a hell of a lot better for 50k/yr citizens than Biden did.
I wish they would simply show the 4 most important categories for US citizens when it comes to the economy and how Trump/Biden did in each.
Inflation: 0-2% vs 8%
Debt Interest Rates: 2-4% vs 7%+
S&P 500: 75% increase over term vs 30-35% increase (which realistically when you adjust it for inflation, it's more like a 10-15% increase because inflation negates most of those gains)
Housing prices: very flat vs 50%+ gain for Biden (pricing out tens of millions of first time home buyers to where some may never own a house)
Why don't they show that? Those are by far the most important metrics for Americans. Why would they have such a strong bias eliminating 50% of an audience and viewership? (I tune in 5 minutes every other week to see if they still only talk about Trump). Why is there no Conservative late night comedy show making fun of Biden? Why is it only the other way around? Why does the silent majority not get a voice? It'd be pretty easy in the same way they talk about Trump to talk about Biden in a late night comedy show.

I wonder what these unfunny assclowns are going to do when Donnie is dead in around a decade. They’ve all made their entire identities around him and sold their souls to Satan, so I hope they’re dragged down with him when he passes a decade or so from now.

I recall a few months into Biden there were a bunch of disasters one week & I tuned in Maher to see if he mentioned them in his monologue.
Biden was not mentioned once. It was 5 minutes of Trump jokes.
And I use the word jokes very loosely. It was more like "Trump - what an a-hole!" & the audience would clap like performing seals. They never actually laughed.

Hmmm....
I try to keep a level sight on what's being made fun of. Some right, some left, some are just trying to find humor in anything.
But here is the thing with Trump... he just keeps talking. He keeps himself out there. He's having events, he's constantly posting on social media, he's putting a lot of content out there.
Biden remains silent and keeps the jokes on his policies. Or 83 jokes on how he is old and fell down.
Yes, the media and late night hosts are left leaning but when every single day Trump tweets or is in court or is slightly slipping in a rally speech, it makes the target easier.
Take the Tom Brady roast for example..
I didn't laugh once at a Kevin hart is short joke.. it is what it is. Funny at first but now it's an easy hit.
But.. we all knew that Gronk was a dummy.. however there were new hilarious ways of making fun of him AND he leaned into it making it more funny.
Trump isn't dumb. But he's playing the game. Negative press is still publicity. Hell, it may even backfire to where one side is picked on so much it may get sympathy votes.

You must be young because presidents and presidential candidates are 99% what they talk about during election season going back forever. The goofier of the two always gets it worse, and Trump is such an easy target. Biden is boring and senile, not a ton of jokes there, but he still gets made fun of quite a bit for it.

For starters, they are not a news segment. Their shows are for entertainment and aimed at 2 segments of audiences that tune in; supporters and hate watchers.
It is tiering for them to constantly repeat the same material all the time, but at the same time what did you expect? They don't have the range of real comedians because they are simply actors that have perfected their delivery and timing.

And I say this as one who is not a Trumpophile....I believe they feel they have an obligation to save the country from him and they are so disconnected that they actually think they are helping in that regard with stuff like this.....it's not and he wins because I agree with you....he's living rent free in their heads.
