Looks like false river had a pretty serious boat mishap yesterday.

Not sure how it happened but they said they were on the South End (towards the Sandbar) when the 14yo kid saw he was about to get hit by a large party barge. When he tried to dodge it the prop got his feet/legs and they got him to the LA Express to get airlifted to OLOL. That's just the info that I've seen on Facebook so far from some locals.

Yep. Then the POS tried to drive away. 3 wake boats who saw the accident took off after him and followed him until the police arrived.

Way too many idiots on holiday weekends to be pulling kids on a tube in the afternoons.

Is it the lawyer who did it a couple of years back then drove away?

I don’t know…I do know they were able to reattach the kids foot and the prop sliced his heel bone in half on that foot and broke a bunch of bones in his other foot. He’s got a long road to recovery

What a reprehensible thing to do.

Know the family
Can confirm
Tried to dive and legs got hit.
In ICU but expected to make full recovery after a very crappy summer

prop injuries

Glad it sounds like he'll be okay.

Lost a soldier a long while back on Toledo Bend. Different circumstances, but tragic nonetheless from a prop injury.

Hope they make a full recovery!
