Runners - what are your go-to strength routines?

I just finished and recovered from my first 50mi race and want to get back into strength training consistently. My main problem that I face is the time commitment to run enough for ultrarunning, while continuing to strength train, while also being a husband and father. Any advice on quick strength sessions that you've found effective would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not a runner but I would recommend Greyskull. Easy to follow. Easy to program. Doesn’t take a long time, and you can still run.

At the gym get you squats and deadlifts done. Use their machines for leg isolation exercises. At home have some free weights, 20-30-40 lbs, and do what you can. For example, do hundreds of lunges while also getting family stuff done. Point being, use the gym for big things such as using their squat racks and at home use small free weights.

When I was running a lot, I was a fan of Les Mills body pump. Total body workout 2 days a week.

Power cleans and squat variations. Should only do it twice a week. You can add core/lower back as well.

From what I’ve read and heard via running podcasts:If you plan to go to the gym, basic compound lifts. Lift heavy and low reps. Squats, deadlifts, calf raises, core work.
Personally, I have a set of adjustable dumbbells and do Peloton strength classes. I don’t lift as heavy or as often as I’d like, but it’s better than nothing and has certainly helped my running.

Big KneesOverToes fan. Dense would be what I'd recommend.

If I'm going to lift, it's basic heavy compounds + core work. Stephen Scullion is an Irish marathoner, his YouTube channel has a few videos of his gym days that you can copy from
