I was routing for Pearland to be honest. Tomball had a hell of a season though and are poised for more with the 2 Sophomore aces on the mound.

We're hoping he makes it to school. He's going to be an incredible player at the next level. I'm friends with the parents of sophomore 3B Harper Gates. Their team was very impressive all season.

We need a really good defensive catcher in the worst way. We have to replace Milazzo. No disrespect to Neal, but he struggles to catch strikes and routine pitches.

As loud as those two tools are, Arrambide's hitting and catching raise some questions. Though he has a track record of performing well on the showcase circuit, he's extremely aggressive and piles up a lot of chases and empty swings. A well-below-average runner who's not particularly agile behind the plate, he gets mixed reviews for his receiving and blocking.

Y’all are going to be really disappointed to find out that there are not many good defensive catchers out there

Can he catch strikes? Does he take strikes away from his pitcher? Do baseballs(near the strike zone) consistently pop out of his glove? Let’s start there, lol

Neal is a top 3 round guy and will still only be 20 years old this time next year.

A 5-8 catcher with an uphill swing and average defensively will not be drafted in the top 3 rounds.

If he is, after his first Milb season some scoot will be fired.

He isn't average defensively. I think he has the fastest pop time ever recorded by Perfect Game. He is considered to be a high draft prospect.

Tomball Tiger 2..........My favorite all-time meal is at Goodson's Cafe in Tomball. (Chicken Fried Steak with the rolls-white gravy, squash and greens)

I'm sure you've eaten there before, huh? .

That's awesome! Did you have the CFS?

We used to live way down in League City, so we'd have to make that epic journey up I-45 through Houston, then west on 2920 to Tomball. Long drive, but the traffic wasn't too bad on Saturday or Sunday and the Goodson's food was worth it........

Grew up in South Texas, CFS, mashed taters/gravy, green beans, homemade rolls and sweet tea.............with bread or banana pudding for dessert.

The good old days............................$5.99 dinner.
