87 Days!!!

Just over 11 weeks until we kickoff against USC. Bought some tickets and will be headed to Vegas to support our Tigers! With baseball season over my mind is on football. 87 days does not feel too far away! Can’t wait for another season in the Bayou. Anybody else headed to our season opener?

I would love to go to the game but I can't go to a Vegas game. It would cost an extra 10 grand by the time everything was said and done.

I hope those 87 days of preparation time are put to good use by BK and the coaching staff. I’d love to see us come out of the gate hot this year!

Didn’t realize we were under 100 days away. Where is the jersey countdown thread this year? I used that as my countdown clock every year

One of my fondest memories is going to the game at the Coliseum in 1984 with my dad. We had to leave Baton Rouge at 2 am to drive to Houston and catch a flight. The pilot was an LSU grad and made sure everyone on the flight knew it.
I had gone to Catfish Town a few weeks in advance and had an airbrushed t-shirt with “Trojan Busters” made - in the parlance of the times. lol, I learned that could have a different connotation to some folks.

My daughter (21) is heading over with some friends. It’s her friend's birthday also and her parents got them a suite at one of the Casinos. The parents will be there also.

I hope it only costs me the price of the flight, game ticket, and hotel! I gave up serious gambling a few years ago, but there is always the pull....
