This was a fun watch. I just knew the shite was going to hit the fan. I still have the last episode to go but it's been a very interesting doc so far!

It was interesting but it got to into the weeds with the micro stories and I felt like we missed out on a lot of the macro story of it all. I was very bored of the individual couples by the end and wanted to know more about the hunt for the leakers, the current version of AM, background on the CEO and his wife, more stories about people who used it successfully, etc.

NAILED IT. I felt the exact same.
They could have spend 30 min talking about that one family guy and how he fricked up his marriage... they spent so much time on that one guy I started to lose interest quickly... it was less about Ashley Madison and more about the choices he was making and how it affected his social media presence. Totally off script from what the trailer showed.

That ‘Christian’ guy from Dallas only admitted to things after getting caught in a lie. Wife only stays with him to save her social media attention. All while both hide behind the church.
Overall, would’ve liked to hear more and/or better experiences. Thought all parts could’ve been told in one hour and a half episode.

Um... It went further than that. He was fricking her friends, hitting up strip clubs and hooking up with random chicks the whole time... but he never hooked up with anyone he met on AM.

I was actually surprised by the vast number of female bots they had on the website. That and the fact that women could join and participate totally for free and the men paid for everything. That makes me think that most of the dating websites are like this.

They're both terrible, narcissistic people. He is probably still cheating on her. And she needs to keep him so she can make money off their stupid social media stuff. And hiding behind religion is completely chickenshit.

Here's the biggest thing I didnt' understand about the doc. They fly in this super duo of hacker sleuthes that are likely some of the world and ridiculously expensive. Side note: i cracked up at that one guy who had those special glasses with the screens inside them so he was just typing away without an actual screen in front of him lol.
Anyways...these guys are on the trail and started to pin down speicifcs and even found that it was someone with identifying information in the system. Then the actul leak happens and...we never hear from them again. It's like the AM folks figured "welp the leak has already happened so I guess it doens't matter who did it, we don't need your serives anymroe". What??? Why did they send them home? Why woudln't they want to do everythgin possible to find the person adn punish them? That made zero sense to me.

Their story is why you see FB profiles with both names in it. "ColbyandMandy Jones". Almost 100% of the time that's when the husband has gotten busted cheating.
