Right now undoubtedly the biggest question of the off-season.

Why would he? He has improved defensively and became a more patient hitter. He is ready to go. He is certainly physically mature enough,

So you don't think NIL and JJ can persuade him to stay?

There’s still a lot he can improve on. If he comes back, he hits .340 and 35 HRs next year. Also, being only a sophomore helps, he doesn’t necessarily lose his leverage with the MLB if he doesn’t sign this year. He has Top 15 overall potential

IMO, not good. He finished the year over .300 with 28 HR. Guys that put up numbers like that don’t return if draft eligible even if they still have leverage.

He will not get 1-2 round money with NIL.

Zero 0% he returns unless he is pissed about how it ended

Yep, if he comes back the way he is seeing the ball and that eye of the tiger. He will be protected to have a monster 2025 season and become a 1st rounder

He still has the leverage of being a Junior next year. That is good for LSU

I don't really feel like he has a true position. He's better at 1B this year, but he's still not great. His footwork leaves a lot to be desired. That dickhead for UNC is light years better defensively.

But Jones' bat is solid. He's ready to leave in that regard.

A 4th round pick isn’t necessarily life changing money. Becoming a first rounder could be. With that said I agree…50/50. He has some things he can improve on and get him up into a higher round selection. Also doesn’t hurt to still have leverage. If I had to bet, I would say he leaves, but I really want him to come back.

Most guys leave early bc they lose bargaining power by entering draft as a senior. This doesn’t apply to Jerr-bear. He can come back and improve his stock without losing bargaining power. And be big man on campus instead of slumming it around the minors. I think he comes back.

He's not going 1-2 round so he won't have to get that type of money with NIL.
