Stop. The kid was a bright spot, especially recently. Yeah he had a bad play, he would have made. He has more potential of any of the freshman except Monster. He’s going to be an all American, and it may be pitching. Without the home run we aren’t even having this conversation.

He’s going to be a damn stud. We are fortunate he was able to turn things around.

Yeah he’s been good down the stretch and he’s only a freshman. Part of the reason he’s had to move all over the outfield anyways is because we had some upperclassmen not step up out there. He will be a really good hitter when he gets a little more experience staying on the ball from a left hander.

He’s great and talented. Don’t care, he lost the game for us. Anyone could’ve caught that ball. He just choked and we lost because of it. It’s not a crime to acknowledge that he clearly choked and let his team down at the worst possible moment with one of the easiest catches ever.

Yes should have made the play. Didn’t know where the fence was, may have lost it in the lights. I acknowledge he should have made the play. All this you cost us the game aren’t close to accurate. Other players not hitting cost us the game.

He won’t be. If he puts him in the outfield he is weak. If he puts him in the in field he is weak. He was a pitcher in high school for a reason, he can hit a little but can’t field.

This has always been a team sport with tons of shoulda, coulda wouldas. We can point at every player AND coach that contributed to this loss. Every one. Unless I missed somebody going 4 for 4, 3 for 4 or even 2 for 4 if I’m not mistaken.

Hmmm, it’s a tad early to call someone a potential college AA. Kling says high!

He made plays in the field. His bat is such a sweet swing. He will continue to improve in the field and at the plate. I’d like to see him pitch.

Have another burbon buddy. I’ve said he’s accountable. People bashing the shite out of him isn’t. His was one play. The rest of the team needs some grief as well.

You have a better choice to play over him? Klinger? Bingham? No he’s the choice.

Everyone has crapped on Kling but he absolutely makes that catch in the first. I’m gonna blame him for the miss tho, because if he could hit even average he would have played. His absence cost the Tigers.

As much as I agree with with you, it comes with the territory. A guy disappointed in being drafted in the sixteenth round should be able to field fly balls. He got a hr, but gave up three on defense. Kid has a bright future but much is expected at lsu. He will grow and looking forward to his future here. I recall Bergman making an error that cost the tigers his freshman year.

Please. When the team needed White, he was busy swinging out of his shoes instead of just putting the ball in play. For the last several games.
