Mbappe joins Real Madrid

Champion's League shouldn't be a contest for them for the next few years.

Kroos retiring effects them for sure. No one on the roster to fill that void.

No one will be as good as him, but a mid-field of Tchouameni, Camavinga, and Valverde is up there with as good as Kross, Modric, and Casamiro.

4-4-2 with Vini and Mbappe up top and Bellingham playing as a 10/false 9 behind them. Saw something about how much better Mbappe's stats were as a winger as opposed to a striker.

4-3-3

Davies, 2 CBs, Carvajal

Tchouaméni/Camavinga at defensive mid/pivor

Jude and Fede in front of the DM

Pretty much an interchangeable front 3 of Mbappe, Vini, and Rodrygo. I don't think they will have set positions and all 3 will play some striker and out wide right, while all 3 get the shot at inverter winger from the left with Davie overlapping

It’s crazy how they just keep dropping money on players.

Mbappe will probably tank that team. He’s a clown.

Real hasn't really been huge spenders since the summer they stupidly got Hazard. They primarily spend on young talent and develop it.

Their net spend isn't that obnoxious, especially for their results. Who do you think they are? Barca? Man U?

His €100m signing on fee makes it slightly less insane

So Mbappe turns down $775M to play in Saudi and we are all supposed to believe that Real Madrid doesn't come close to that salary?

quote:

According to BBC Sport, Mbappe's Madrid contract is worth €15 million net per season, which works out at roughly €288,000 per week.

That's a huge drop-off from the €75m ($82.8m) net per year base salary he earned at PSG, but Madrid simply cannot match that level of wage. However, it has been reported that a signing fee of around €150m, payable over five years, will make up some of the shortfall.

Something seems a little fricky here.

Mbappe has been printing money in Paris while being unhappy for like 3 years. I doubt he wants to deal with more oil barons.

Real is literally his dream team.

I’d turn down millions if I already had millions for a chance to win champions league.

Money is not everything.
