Guidry could not get a strike call on some really good pitches. He overcame that a-hole but damn, call a fair game ump

I think the ump's calls mostly favored LSU in the first 3/4 of the game. The last quarter of the game he definitely favored not giving us strikes.
I can be fair and say when it benefits us or not, but god damn just be consistent.

His zone changed in the 9th. But he was MASSIVE for us tonight overall. His huge zone allowed Hurd to roll.

Strike zone was all over the place on both sides. Liberal zone until there were big situations and then he seemed to want to squeeze pitchers. He was bad because his zone changed during the game. LSU got some gift calls while pitching earlier in the game, too.

College Baseball needs to go to an electronic strike zone. There's not enough competent umps to call all of the games.
