The difference between today and the last 2 days was timely hits. We had 7 or 8 hits with RISP. We could never get the runs across last 2 days.

Travinski.....0/7, 1K,
for a 5th year senior this is just unacceptable.

Also helped playing a wofford team with no bullpen.

Hopefully this was the fat girl treatment the team needed.

Nothing personal but I hope someone else is DH'ing game 2 today. Neal was looking pretty good at the plate. Wonder who JJ is going to start at catcher as well.

This makes the move of Braswell out of the lead off spot even more of a headscratcher

Might not hurt to have him in the middle of the order to drive runs in

Nobody been driving him in when he's on base at the top

Braswell should be our lead off guy. End of discussion. Figure out the rest from there.

That's why he may have gotten his spot taken. In tonight's game Neal will likely be back at DH unless he catches. If he does catch I bet Frey will be DH.

I like Trav and what he has done for the program, but he may have slumped his way out of the lineup.

It all about timely hits. That is what TT delivered last year, not so much so far in regionals this year. Hoping he explodes next two games.

Why? At what point should you be immune from a 7 AB hitless streak?

Neil is probably starting at catcher. Maybe sub Milazzo late. It’s tough to catch two straight games and come back the third. I give him a breather and DH Bingham. Possibly move Neil to DH or insert Travinski if need be. We can’t have the catcher kill us.

Neal, and he should be catching the first few innings. You give up some defense, but you have flexibilty. Also, give Milazzos knees rest and use as def replacement if need arises

Not bad but there are some big holes in these stats. We have a handful of guys who need to put the ball in play
