Is today the coldest southern June day that you have ever experienced in the southern US?

I've seen it snow in Yellowstone during the month of June and I thought it was so odd, I never thought I would be back in my closest looking for some jeans and a light jacket on June 1st.

About 10 years ago I took my kids to a water park in Birmingham on 4th of July weekend. It was cloudy and misting rain and we froze to death. I had to bring the girls back to the hotel room when their lips turned blue.

I remember July 4th in 2013 being rainy. That's about the only thing I remember about it.
