I need a Trumper to explain something

Of all the detestable things about Trump, one that particularly galls me is his nonstop contradictions.
He says one thing in one breath and the exact opposite in the next. Yet, his cultists ... excuse me, supporters ... nod their collective head in unison.
I will never understand why y'all don't say, "Hey, wait a minute. That doesn't make sense. Maybe he is just saying the expedient thing. Maybe he doesn't believe in a damned thing other than enriching himself. Maybe he's as full of shite as a Christmas goose."
I paraphrase, of course.
So, with that in mind, please explain how y'all square this.
He said the other day that President Biden's FBI was "locked and loaded" (his words) and ready to kill him when they searched Mar-a-Lago (despite the fact that they searched the place on a day when Trump was a thousand miles away). And, on cue, the cul ... the supporters lost their mind. How DARE President Biden send the FBI to kill Trump! Banana state! Third-world shithole country!
At the same time, Trump has a case in front of the United State Supreme Court arguing that he has complete immunity, and one of the very arguments his lawyers agreed with was that as president, Trump could order Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political rival and that would be A-OK.
Surely, SURELY, y'all see those things as being the exact same thing. Because. They. Are.
Why is it evil and demented in one case but just another routine presidential action in the other?
Take all the time you need. Discuss among yourselves if need be. But answer in actual English words. Not this made-up bullshite like covfefe.
