#UNC head coach Scott Forbes says Jason DeCaro will start tomorrow against LIU, with Shea Sprague pitching Saturday against either Wofford or LSU. Aidan Haugh in line for Sunday.

Shea Sprague LHP :
4.02 ERA ,
WHIP: 1.20
IP: 65.0
Hits: 64
Runs: 33
Earned Runs 29
Walks- 14
Strikeouts: 55
Home Runs: 10
Opposing Batting Average .261

Get to Saturday 1-0 and I like our chances.

Is it just me, but don’t lefties give us more trouble than righties?

They definitely do, weirdly enough it always feels like its the ones with like 8 innings pitched on the year and a really bad era. I thought vs Hagen Smith we did decent. We got his pitch count up and we had a good amount of strikeouts but we scratched and clawed and had the lead when he left the game.

I will be interested to see if Brown starts in CF vs a LHP or if it will be Bingham/Kling

Just freaking perfect. A lefty that likely soft tosses and has junk. DOOMED. Kryptonite to this bunch. Prepare yourselves for a southern Miss a typical Sunday in the SEC against a decent-mid-decent pitcher.
Pray Holman goes 9

Interesting. They are pitching their Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starters in their normal order.

@nicholas

I will be interested to see if Jay swaps Jump & Holman just because Wafford is Righty heavy and UNC has 4 lefties and a switch hitter.

I predict he will go normal Jump then Holman but the fact that UNC has a lot more lefties could make him swap.

Jump gets us in the winners bracket game against UNC and then let the best pitcher in this regional Holman put us in the drivers seat. At that point we’ll be the odds on favorite to advance.

Wofford average/OPS vs RHP: .352/1.012

Wofford average/OPS vs LHP: .319/.948

Jump is and should be the starter tomorrow.

Jump is gonna go Friday to help control their running game. It is harder to steal on left handed pitching. They like to run.
