Who is your favorite coach ever fired by LSU?

Mine is John Brady by far. Curious to see if I’m missing anyone.

Greatest interim coach of all time. Really set the table for Saban.

John Brady is up there but that season after the final four was a huge disappointment. No excuse for that roster being .500.

No one misses Johnny Jones as Head Coach. We can respect him as an alum without wishing him to ever return to our bench.

I figured O would be up there. Everyone loved the fact that he came in and made all the moves everyone knew we needed. The only problem is he had no plan once we made it to the top.
Who can blame him though. He got a ring and 18 million reasons to enjoy his life.

I love Wade and would take him back today. I just love the way Brady has stayed true to LSU and thoroughly enjoy his color commentary on LSU Radio.

I think the team was designed to feature Tasmin Mitchell, and he got hurt 3 games into the season.
I'd rank Brady above Wade. Other than that season, it seemed like Brady's teams always built on prior seasons, with a stud in every class. Imagine if Bass had stayed for the Final Four season, or if Tasmin hadn't got hurt.
Wade seemed to piece things together each year, with a different guy being the difference maker every year.
I'll probably get downvoted for this, but I liked Les in football. He gave us a fantastic decade, to the point where all people could bitch about was HOW we won (too boring), and his quirky mannerisms.
I look back and see people saying they don't care if we lose, they want a 300 yd passer and 40 pts, but hey, 10-11 wins every year makes that tolerable. I'd take ground-and-pound and the playoffs, over 2020 and 2021.

My favorite fired LSU coach is certainly Ed Orgeron, if only because he did win a championship, and unlike Les Miles and Nick Saban, orchestrated the first perfect LSU season since 1958.
