Is it normal for prosecutors to filibuster for 5 hours?

It hard for me to believe they are confident in their case when they are just trying to just run out the clock.

nothing about this case is normal.

Highly abnormal. The deep state is trying to put in serious work.

It's like buying a car. The longer they keep you there, the more likely you just give up and do what they want.

It’s absurd. You think the jurors appreciate something like this?

The prosecution is performing their version of a Jedi mind frick on the jury that's really not needed. It's crazy to think the prosecution is concerned their handpicked jury isn't going to convict Trump on a manufactured felony.

Correct.
Soviet style show trials are not even part of a justice system.

Way to piss off a jury especially when they told the judge they wanted to power through it this afternoon to get it over with.
After getting visits from 3 letter agencies over last week they've made up their mind- guilty
"Silver or lead", a [hijacked by marxist] American legal system version

I’ve served on a jury and can tell you they do not want to hear hours of mumbo jumbo. In a way its telling them they are too dumb to have taken in info and decide. Its a massive red flag. Case is done and a quick summary is all thats needed.
I also had to ask for a 2nd notebook in mine. I took great notes even though some took none. And guess what, in deliberations they all turned to me for key notes.
Never turn down jury duty.

I don’t know if it’s normal, but it’s certainly stupid. If you’re on a jury do you want to listen to some lawyer talk for 5 hrs.
I’d be amazed if all of them remained awake.
A lot of judges will give a time limit out of respect for the jury.

This is the judicial version of a struggle session.

I’m watching CNN right now bc they always miss the point.
They are basically saying it is a genius closing move to talk for 5 hrs.
Talking 5 hrs is a terrible fricking idea. And it’s insulting to the jury

Why would anyone think it is a good idea to talk for 5 hours?

its because they are dealing with, mindless drones on the jury
its smart because if the defense has anyone still not sure he is guilty, they repeat the lies for a few hours until no one remembers anything trumps lawyers said by then. so they go to deliberations with no memory of anything trumps defense proving he is innocent

Didn’t the defense help with that picking?
If not, this case will be overturned for sure.
