Hurd. Nothing to lose there really but there could be a lot to gain if Hurd gets hot from here.

Ack in a big ballpark is a better pitcher. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him throw 5 or 6 strong innings.

We do not have much chance of winning this thing to be honest. We have used our 2 best pitchers, and they are done for the rest of the tournament. Winning 3-4 games without Holman and Jump seems unreasonable.

You are correct, we aren't winning this tournament. Not enough quality pitching, IMO.
BUT, we have done enough to get ourselves into the NCAA Ty and that was the objective, IMO.

This. 100%. I think Jay has a unique opportunity to ride this season-high confidence and momentum to find something in a kid that has so clearly been lost baseball-wise.
Put the ball in his hand against the number 1/2 team (possibly), give him the Herb Brooks “Your Time” speech or send him Youtube link to the Miracle clip (same effect either way), and then let him go out there and take it!

I know Little hasn’t started much but but is very much improved so I’m leaning start Little with Hurd and Ack right behind him.
But just an idea, I haven’t stayed at a Holiday Inn in years.
