That’ll leave a mark.

It’s the one wedge issue between Trump and his base.

You're probably right. I would've said Trump believing that Bruce Jenner can magically become a woman and that biological men should use women's bathrooms, but MAGA seems to support that given how much they hate Riley Gaines and love Bruce.

I'm not sure that it's much of a wedge issue for his base. At the time, I was happy that it was available to my parents that are in their 70s. I chose not to take it, and due to Biden's mandates, that cost me my job. I ended up better off in the long run.

Why should Trump's base be upset that an experimental treatment was made available to the general public? I think many people would like cancer patients to be able to take experimental treatments on a larger scale as an option. Just don't force it on them.

No it’s not. If it was, there would be clamoring from the heavens if this was truly a wedge issue.

Just think about it rationally for just a moment. Trump takes credit for the vaccine. He doesn’t just say it was necessary evil, but he actually describes it as his greatest achievement. A shot that literally kills people is what he considers to be his greatest achievement. And it had ZERO impact on his popularity. None. We have crucified Republicans politicians for far less, and Trump hasn’t pivoted one bit from his position on the vaccine.

IMHO, Trump’s ability to navigate both the vaccine and his spending as a contributing factor for inflation without any accountability is the greatest political feat I have ever witnessed.

And yet Trump continues to brag about the "vax" and promote his Covid response as a resounding victory.

Yes, I already know who I'm voting for. I'm not voting for the walking potato who remains upright through amphetamines. I'm not voting, either, for the lifelong liberal from a liberal dynasty who might happen do despise the MIC but is staunchly pro-entitlements and anti-gun.

I'm voting for Orange, but his continued embrace of the Covid shite that we'd all rather put in the rearview, will always be a glaring point of contention between he and the members of his base. I'd probably not even hold my nose while filling in the Trump oval, if he'd just shut up about Covid. Not sure what faction of his campaign strategists has convinced Trump that Covid is an issue that helps him, but whoever it is they're detached from reality. For both sides and everywhere in the middle, the Covid topic only brings up bad memories and negative connotations.

At this point, everyone I've spoke with in pretty much any capacity, generally understands that the whole scamdemic was a farce and a total shite show.

I am a pureblood and wish Trump didn't promote what we know now to be a dangerous and ineffective vax. But Trump was never in favor of forced vaccinations and that's all I really care about.
