Atheism sure is one strange religion. To think you are the highest power in the universe is lunacy.

Is Rep. Mace correct in her own perspective on the Gaza War?
Christians are not treated well in Israel by the religious Jews, who protest Christians and spit in their direction to show their contempt.
Israel is part of the mission field and they need the gospel for salvation just like all other peoples who reject salvation through the God-man messiah, Jesus Christ.

I’m not an atheist, but is that what they believe?

Made up by John Calvin because he didn’t want to be Catholic.

Yes. They believe there are 7 billion mini-gods running around the earth.

I know that Catholics are fond of downplaying the Bible in favor of tradition, but you should still crack it open sometimes to see what God has taught us.

That sounds silly. I kind of doubt that’s the case.

Like all theology, MJ, ultimately subjective and in the eye of the beholder. For me, the New Testament (aka Christianity) is a derivative of OT theology, as the OT narrative sets the basis for the Messiah.
One can get into the weeds and tailor Biblical theology to fit most any narrative that they desire. Including a total discredit as intelligent and motivated individuals like Squirrelmeister and/or Roger Klarin undertake. For whatever reason.
I am really pretty ignorant re Judaism, as I didn't even know until recently that they believe in the/a bodily "resurrection" of individuals, I.e., a form of psuedo 'reincarnation' in effect. I watched a Jewish theologian named Manis Freidman, pretty interesting and smart man.
Botom line: to each their own. We live within the 'feeling' confines and consequences of our belief and die as well reaping said consequences. If Freidman is correct (as I am inclined to believe, but am always open to persuasion) then we simply move to our next life reaping "that which we sew". We take up where we left off, with the experience of our death confining limitations/possibilities factored in. I would think all religions accept this a Universal Axiom for Justice. Non-religion as well. Albeit Secular Humanist believe that since there is no Justice in both the innate genetics and luck of the draw cultural scenario wherein a particular individual is definitively born into, and that such an 'injustice' should be morally addressed. Therein, DEI, as a mitigant to "life's lottery"; random and no-God unfair version. To Believers, it is God's will and "The Word" (of Truth) that put us where we are and shaped who we are. Jesus's Mercy being a possible wild card.
Go figure. Good luck re the consequences. Real Love is win, to the degree that one can experience it, regardless. Temporal or eternal.

Couple of things. First, there's no need for you to pollute a thread by again picking fights with people. Second, Mass is celebrated every day. Monday through Saturday, two Bible passages are read aloud to the congregation. On Sundays, three passages are read aloud to the congregation. The Priest or a Deacon will then deliver a sermon or homily on the Bible lesson of the day.
Once again, Dwight, you can't help yourself - you are always here to fight with Jim. In so doing, you display a range of ignorance, disingenuousness, and intellectual dishonesty.
Try to be less of a Dwight, Dwight.
Your first post in this thread is a constrtuctive post. Thanks.

I tuned Hagee out many years ago. He has made a ton of money on eschatology predictions. You know; "send your money to Jesus but use my address". So, I know little of his most recent predictions.
As to Mace, her rant does have some Biblical backing so she if free to believe that. Personally, I think the war is about defending your country from terrorists that happen to believe differently than the Jews. So in the end, the Bible tells you no one knows the day or the hour but you can bend anything going on today people can find some support in the Bible. I guess a stretch could take it back to Isaac and Ishmael and the formation of the Islam faith. So natural enemies in the sense of how Ishmael and Hagar were banished.

I agree with you that not every skirmish or war in the Middle East involving Israel should be viewed as fulfillment of some kind of Bible Prophecy.
I also suspect that all Christian denominations spend too much time on "End Times Bible Prophecy". There are other points of Christian theology and teaching that are more important for life on this world.

It is the practice of striving to follow the Ten Commandments.
Jews and Christians both profess their belief in this practice.
Thus Jew and Christian Theology

Yes, in the since that it is a spiritual warfare between Israel and the darkness that wishes for it’s extermination.

Just look at this board. Zionism is a socialist creed perpetuated by secular people who had no ties to the Holy Land until the 1880's (at the earliest). And yet it's essentially a religion to some of these people. They'd favor the people who murdered their Savior over their brothers in Christ. They are unwitting vessels of Satan.
I've never read so much ignorance in a single post.. No sense trying to explain any of it to you. You're a hopefless case.
