I did these once. It wasn't my favorite.

They look interesting, but seems like a lot of trouble for something that can be done with the whole ears. You're still eating corn off the cob. I don't get it.

I made them last night (same technique different ingredients). They were good because corn is good. Not sure what the difference was though

Few eating experiences are more annoying than corn ribs. Just give me the entire damn cobb. Thank you.

I would think eating off small corn ribs would be more difficult to hold on to than the whole ear of corn. Nothing about it makes much sense to me.

Full sweet corn on the cob is perfect as is and you can still season them and cook them in various ways. I appreciate posters bringing new ideas just the same though. Some I try and others I do not, some I have liked and others I have not, but I appreciate them all being posted.

So it's just grilled corn on the cob with an added degree of difficulty for both chef and eater?

I prefer rib corn. It’s when you score ribs like corn kernels, then put the whole thing into a food processor, blend it, then inject it into a cactus to eat.

Are you able to eat the cob when cooked this way? I could see it being worth the effort if so
