The Andy Beshear/JBE Ticket for Win(D)

Two southern (D) governors that both won bigly in Red States. Biden and Harris better watch out. They may soon be kicked to the curb.
South Louisiana elected JBE twice, could not support a North Louisianian named Ralph Abraham(R).

Andy Beshear will be the D nominee in 2028. Book it, take it to the bank, etc. He's laying in weeds right now and the unions absolutely love him.

Andy might be too conservative for them. Not in his principles, he’ll be whatever they want him to be, but he has walked a fine line in Kentucky, courting Trump supporters and pitching himself as an old-school democrat.
His record on energy and gun control isn’t going to appeal to the loonier parts of the left. He might defend it by pointing to the fact that the senate and house in Kentucky are overwhelmingly Republican.
To be totally honest, as a Kentuckian, I don’t actually dislike Andy all that much. The state seems to actually work better with a Republican Congress and Democrat Governor. Andy is a lot more political than his dad, though, so he’ll fall in line if push comes to shove.

Has anyone ever taken a hard look at what actually happened to Louisiana during JBE’s eight years in office? Woof. This is like touting Mitch Landrieu as a candidate.

the largest margin of victory for them is 8% and that was JBE vs renowned cheater Vitter.
And they have to run as center left or they wouldn't have had a chance.

We all lived it. The absolute worst governor in America during his time in office, and looking at the trash serving as governor around the country - that is saying something.
JBE wasn't the governor Louisiana needed or wanted, but he was the governor Louisiana deserved.

He will be eaten alive by the extreme left. Everything he tries to use to show he is a moderate will be used against him and if he tries to move left he will no longer be that southern “moderate”. The moonbats control the Democratic Party now days.

Let me guess. You just moved to this state. Piyush Jindal is the worst Louisiana governor since our last great one in Murphy Foster. Jindal nearly bankrupted the state. He blew the Katrina funds then stole(3 card monte) from state agencies. Group Benefits for one. Im no JBE fan, but he was a huge improvement over Jindal.

I’ll see your Piyush and raise you Kathleen (Edith Bunker) Blanco.

That's like arguing who is the tallest midget. They both sucked, but JBE was way worse.
Jindal is probably the most disappointed I've ever been in a politician. He had an opportunity to do a lot for the state and failed.

Guess again. Born and mostly raised here. Spent 80 percent of my life in Louisiana.

John bel Edwards was a total loon/ bitch when it came to his Covid press conference he would stand there and say that he wasn’t going to talk to us like little children then continue on to talk to us like little children f him

Only had her for 4 years. Jindal had 8. He blew through the Katrina funds like a liberal Dem then took built up surpluses found in state agencies and spent those too.

If Beshear doesn't run for President in 28, he will run for the turtles seat. And win.

Depends on who he runs against. On state issues he does OK but I can see him losing a senate race if he leans left at all. I think Comer would beat him.

Well he did shut down churches and kept open liquor stores during the pandemic. That did not go well with old school democrats, especially the bible thumpers. He only got re- elected because he ran against a black republican, IMO. Kentucky ain't ready for that. If he was a D, it would've been a landslide victory.
