Looks like the PT board has some socialist commies that actually like Bernie.
Surely they must be forgetting that this guy is a flaming commie and hates capitalism. But finds that it is acceptable to make millions and have cushy life off the backs of tax payers without providing anything in return but commie ideas.

At least capitalism provides products we want.

Thats how it works. Introduce more left ideas and so it becomes normal and then go farther left. Bernie was just another step to the left.

Sanders has needed to go (along with a bunch of Octogenarians)...but I thought he didn't actually get elected to public office until the early 1980s.

From what I can see...the oldest US Congressmen are currently:

Chuck Grassley - 91 (R - Iowa)
Grace Napolitano - 87 (D - California)
Bill Pascerell - 87 (D - New Jersey)
Hal Rogers - 86 (R - Kentucky)
Maxine Waters - 85 (D - California)
Steny Hoyer - 84 (D - Maryland)
Bernie Sanders - 83 (D - Vermont)
Nancy Pelosi - 83 (D - California)
Jim Clyburn - 83 (D - South Carolina)
Mitch McConnell - 82 (R - Kentucky)
Danny Davis - 82 (D - Illinois)
John Carter - 82 (R - Texas)
Jim Risch - 81 (R - Idaho)
Frederica Wilson - 81 (D - Florida)
Angus King - 80 (Ind - Maine)
Dick Durbin - 79 (D - Illinois)

There is no way any of these people should be making decisions regarding public policy. All Public Servants should have a mandatory retirement age of 75. If someone wants to hire them as a consultant...that is fine...anyone who is old enough to have had to choose who to vote for between Kennedy and Nixon, probably needs to step aside and let others take over.

He should. Sanders hasn't worked a legit day in his life.

Didnt he fail a Kibbutz because he was too lazy?

quote:

In the article, reproduced Thursday on Haaretz’s website, Sanders tells Melman that he visited Israel in 1963 as a guest of the leftist Zionist Hashomer Hatzair movement and stayed at its affiliated kibbutz, northeast of Haifa.
