We just took 2-3 in a series many thought we would be swept in and greatly increased our chances for post season…

Putting ourself in a much better position of making the tournament is certainly not my definition of Square1. Weekend could not have gone any better for LSU baseball, unexpectedly winning a series against #1.

If had lost 54-0 on Friday, and won Saturday and yesterday, would you still feel this way?
Winning this series was definitely not back to square 1. If anything, we moved up a couple of squares. 4-2 over the final two series likely puts us in the tournament, especially if we can win a couple of games in Hoover.

This team has given itself (and the fans) an extra week of meaningful baseball.
Winning 1 or 2 this weekend will give us one more week with a chance to extend it further.
