Best time to BOOK a flight

Is there a particular day of the week that is best to search for best pricing on flights? Not travel dates but actual time/day of searching

I'm not exactly sure but the google flight search is a good tool and does give a recommendation based off of historical data.

I’ve always heard Tuesday and Wednesday tend to have the lower fares posted, but I’ll second the Google Flights recommendation. You can set your destination and get automatic pricing changes emailed to you.

Mostly a myth, it is all based on inventory in each fare class. Some inventory is slowly released, but for the most part, there is specific day / time that vastly impacts.
Cookies in your browser impact it much more than date.

You can have google flights notify when prices change for a particular flight. I am watching one that I already bought and it stays around $500 but will randomly drop to $290 for a few hours for no apparent reason. So I would follow your flight and jump on it if the price drops.

I’ve been using google flights to track tickets on two different trips. It rarely changes (significantly) and when it does it’s the least desirable flight. I’m pretty sure I’m going to pay the same price whenever I buy.
