Not if they figured out how to stock more inventory.

That's what I started with, but you didn't copy in your quote.

I am sure there are some delays of when they can increase their inventory stock, plus they want to make sure they follow trends to ensure it isn't a 1-time thing to avoid spoilage if they increase inventory and suddenly the lines go away. But, knowing how so many larger companies work, they would most likely try to find that happy medium of minimizing shortages, running out late in the 4th, and finding a way to continue to increase prices; than try to increase inventory, lower prices, increase sales & profits. The later part requires some serious planning, forecasting, and creative thinking than may be beyond what the people of Aramark (or whoever supplies the superdome) are capable of.
