It’s too bad we weren’t able to buy Greenland.

Mongolia having access to Starlink is interesting.

One major discrepancy in central Europe on that map.

Why doesn’t the South have the coverage other places have?

BRICs versus the Allies. Kudos to Mongolia. Africa is sinking into the abyss.

My guess is the south and the northeast are more populated so there are more people using it.. Which slows your speed.

Google is using balloons to deliver high speed internet in Africa
Google balloons in Africa

A network of giant balloons will soon bring internet access to remote regions of rural Kenya.
Google's sister-company Loon has announced its first commercial deal: partnering with Telkom Kenya to deliver connectivity to the region.
The firm's antennae-dangling fleet will ride the wind high above parts of the African country.
But experts have warned that the partnership could lead to a communications monopoly.

That doesn’t explain Europe and Japan

It could in a way, they may be so populated (not rural) most people have regular internet already. So not many using it.
Or more satellite coverage already. They are constantly launching more.

Says a lot about current South Africa that Elon hasn't covered it yet.
Anyone have this service and able to give some pro/cons? Is there are good "use it anywhere home, on the road" option that's better than using the hotspot on my phone?
Elon bringing out his own phone and cell service would be pretty market uphevel if done right. Sux there's no real basic way to invest.

Lots of use in the oilfield and I’m guessing one or more of the southern states accounts for use in the GoM.
And here I am posting via Starlink

Nice research on the Loon Project in Africa. Though supposedly "discontinued" under the old "Loon" moniker, the project continues under new names.
Loon = Balloon-"Satellites", a network of high altitude / aka "Low Earth Orbit" Bal-loons designed to bring internet service to remote areas. This balLoon-"Satellite" comm system is exactly what Elon Musk's "Starlink" is.

MEANWHILE....
The following eye-opening research and conclusions can't possibly be right! (or can they?)
CAUTION: Salty language. Your mind may be blown.
BOOM. BOOM. And...BA-BOOM!!

Greenland's true size is that of the state of Alaska.
