Seems like one camp thinks he would turn it down out of pride the other side says trump wouldnt offer. What do you believe?

No idea
Seems high risk for DeSantis though
Candidly I think even you guys would have to admit that it’s anybody’s guess as to a) whether Ron could stay in trump’s good graces for 4 years and b) what things will look like for MAGA Republicans after a possible Trump term, particularly if Trump is riding off into the sunset at that point

Why?

See above - how many people in Trumpworld are better positioned now for electoral politics than when they got into his close circle?

Why would Ron deny a VP slot
I actually said this was a possible plan all along now i thinks it coming to fruition

Seems like he would have more support if it went well. If offered I think it would be another bad move to turn it down.

Both from same state, cannot be on same ticket

The real people know it’s not happening, this is just for discussion

He would turn it down for multiple reasons, the least of which is pride. The VP pick will be someone who is willing to take the political risk for elevation to the public eye. Desantis actually uses policy for political gain. He and Trump are like oil and water. Trump needs someone who is as comfortable under the spotlight as he is.

All I know.. the liberals have lost their fricking minds over this potential pick

When is the VP ever in the spot light?

High risk for Florida - Not really for Desantis
Desantis is one of the few governors that the MSM and puppets don't want in that chair because he does go after bat shite crazy liberal ideas - routinely and if the impeached Trump they would be left with Desantis.

The current one was put in charge of the border crisis, and the one before that was appointed the head of the White House Covid Taskforce. There’s no brighter spotlight opportunities than those two issues. What they do with the opportunity is on them.

Spotlight would include intense scrutiny from the press.
Kamala got none.
Ron thrives on it. It’s just not a spotlight position and that’s on purpose.

While campaigning, but I agree with your sentiment. There's nothing to gain from either perspective with Desantis as VP though. I'll be shocked if it isn't a woman.

The one right before the Trump administration is now the President. I can’t help but think was some factor of benefit for him in that endeavor.

Trump is going to set up a massive voting fraud scheme to get Meatball in the White House in 2032?
Genius.

Hope so. I want him in Florida. Vivek can be VP.

I think you’re reaching for some spectacular way to slap that layup into the nosebleed seats, but it’s a failed effort and an easy basket. It would instead be 2028 and yes, I think Trump would be pleased to see a President Desantis on that timeline.

Nah. It'd need to be 2032 to keep things neat.
