In that regard, neither are worth a damn. However, in every regard, Biden isn't worth a damn. Prior to covid Trump did great. Sadly, even as bad as things got under Trump, Biden has managed to make everything significantly worse.

This thread has turned into a pissing match. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.
Back on subject, Desantis made a huge political “mistake”. I quote mistake, because I don’t think it was unintentional. But is sunk him.
Moving forward he’s going to have an opportunity to fix that…or make the “mistake” again.
I view Desantis helping Trump as pretty meaningless. He doesn’t have to “kiss the ring” and frankly it wouldn’t help him in any significant way. He’s helping out of party loyalty, and Desantis has always said he would and has lived up to that.
But, he will not have a shot at a Republican nomination if he doesn’t truly embrace the America First agenda.
Labeling Desantis as GOPe was probably the most brilliant political move ever. There will be books written about it.
Desantis could have combatted that attack by expressing his alignment with America First. But he did the opposite. He and his supporters attacked the movement and its supporter. It went so far as to call them a cult. That was pretty much the worst strategy he could have take.
Now, I personally think Desantis made that choice logically. And, I think he dislikes the America First movement. And, to his credit, he’s honest enough to admit who he is. For that reason, I don’t have much hope to get Desantis on board.
