I don't have any great pics of the bathroom before but it was GOD AWFUL. Who thought buying a BROWN toliet was a great idea? Anyway, the house had settled, there were several huge crack running across the tile and now that we've had the house foundation remediated, we didn't want our guests to use that hideous toliet that was designed for a midget. ending up keeping the wallpaper (for now), the light fixture and reused the mirror but put in terrazzo tile becuase i told my wife if i didn't get to put terrazzo in at least one room of the house i was going to stomp my feet and hold my breath.
anyway, here's the closest i have to a before & after; the awful realtor distorted reality shot, a close up of the old wall & floor and the new bathroom.
also, the house exterior painting was compeleted this weekend as well! we went with a gray/black (iron ore maybe?) with black trim and i think it turned out great. next step is to pull those fixtures and sandblast them and refinish in brushed brass or gold or maybe even copper to make them stand out. Sun was overhead so that second pic doesn't really do the outside justice.
Pretty much just the kitchen is all that is left!! Very excited to see this all come together.

someone who got tired of their SO leave track marks in the bowl?
That all looks really good. But your home could be a portajon and I'd be jealous of anyone living in TN.
Have you have to make any repairs to the window areas on the exterior? In my experience windows with little roof overhang need to be flashed very thoughtfully since they get water almost every rain.

Looks awesome CAD
we might be doing a very similar project soon, completely remodeling a 1970s era house that hasn't been touched since it was built
1 owner, in an amazing location with a 2 acre lot, but needs so much work
I'm down, just trying to convince the wife that it will be worth the work and stress

Exterior color was a nice choice. That bathroom tile? Maybe not
To each his own! Nice work

Bet you could sell the toilet and sink for a few hundred. Tempting to put a nice modern front door, or is it a more craftsman look? Seems originally a modern aesthetic. Flat roof shouldn’t be that much, as many commercial building have them, they can spray them now.

Man, poop streaks/spatter would certainly be less noticeable. Same for mineral stains. That bathroom was nothing close to god awful, wish mine were original given how badly they were "updated" before we bought this house. I'll be ripping out everything they did.
