Of course. It's Christianity or paganism. Those are the only choices.
Same mindset progressives use against JK Rowling.

With respect to foreigners, no. Whatever minor distinctions you can squeeze out do not make a difference.
So different that they aren't even the same thing.

Probably because Jesus never spoke against it. Which is why I asked that question earlier.
It wasn't even close to being the same thing, but you are still completely missing the fact that the Bible is NOT silent on slavery. You're making an incredibly shallow argument that falls apart under only the slightest scrutiny.

Except progressivism has never improved anything. The same cannot be said about Christianity.

Could you pass down slaves to your children following OT rules?
Could you beat your slaves according to OT rules?

The greatest country in world's history was built without Christianity.

This can only be true if you do not believe the USA to be the greatest country in the world's history.

This likely will end up being reality for a lot of posters children on here. This country has been flooded by non Christians the last 40 years. I’d have an exit plan if you are under 30 years old.

Heaven will be like a Pelican game, lots of empty seats.
Jesus said as much, many will go through the wide gate, few will enter the narrow which is life eternal.
That is a very uncomfortable quote by Jesus

You’re really saying the main dichotomy in American classrooms is Christian prayers vs. bowing in Islamic prayer…. a binary choice? lolol.
No, I’m saying these leftists at all these universities who are praying Muslim prayers and bending the knee the Islam are hypocrites because they think Christianity isn’t woke enough.

The atheists who pretend this all would exist without Christian values are just as dumb as the commies who pretend communism can exist without capitalism.
Atheists are happy to live in societies built on Christianity and the moral principles, while pretending Christianity had nothing to do with morals of the society.
It’s the same as commies happily mooching off the excesses of capitalism while pretending it could all exist without capitalism.

quote:quote:Dumbest post in this thread easily. Just link one story about Christians throwing a gay off a roof and I’ll retract this.
Christianity Has functionally the same as quote:throw gays off buildings As the whole town is to stone men who have buttsecks with a man. And… quote:make women have a male with them at all times Was a pretty normal thing in Christian cultures until very recently like the last hundred or so years.
Was Christianity a Jewish-based religious offshoot. Was “Jesus” Jewish?
Ever heard of “sakil” or “saqal”?
Ask the Rabbi
Death penalty in the Bible - “sekila”
Let’s see where it is used.
Biblehub concordance - “saqal”
Will you retract your statement, seeing as how many cases of the death penalty in the Bible, which Christians claim to follow and believe to be the word of “God”, required the death penalty recipient to be thrown from a height and then, if not dead yet, smashed with a giant stone?
Still not convinced? Maybe I could show you that it was common practice in Jewish culture at the time of Jesus? Maybe.
Luke Chapter 4:
quote:
28When they heard these things, all in the synagogue were filled with wrath. 29And they rose up and drove him out of the town and brought him to the brow of the hill on which their town was built, so that they could throw him down the cliff.
Now do a little research for yourself. Figure out how James the Just was killed. What did the church fathers say about his death? I’ll hang up and listen.
ETA: Muslims are simply an offshoot of a Torah-observant sect of Christians in Arabia that were not under the influence of Rome or Byzantium. The Torah-observant Christians were themselves an offshoot sect of Jews. Check the Quran for yourself…
Surah 3:3
quote:
He has revealed to you ?O Prophet? (Muhammad) the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
Surah 5:46
quote:
Then in the footsteps of the prophets, We sent Jesus, son of Mary, confirming the Torah revealed before him. And We gave him the Gospel containing guidance and light and confirming what was revealed in the Torah—a guide and a lesson to the God-fearing.
Just about every barbaric practice the Muslims do today can be traced back through the Gospels and through the Torah. Christians today happen to reject the Bible in favor of moral relativism and Greek philosophy, while simultaneously claiming they follow the “objective moral standard” of the Bible that isn’t even remotely objective even if it was authoritative (but it isn’t).

No way you actually doubled down
I noticed you didn’t link a single news story about Christians throwing gays off of roofs.
If Christianity is as violent and as awful as you interpret it to be, surely you can find one?? Surely there’s just one mean awful group of Christians out there killing LGBTQ people like the dozens of Muslim examples you can easily find in 1 google search. Surely you aren’t the only one interpreting it like that and the millions and millions of Christians worldwide are also violent killers??
TigerDroppings hall of fame for dumbest sentence I’ve read on here. Congrats on this accomplishment.

Maybe read my entire post next time. I know it had like 25 words, but just put your concentration cap on next time.
I quoted you Word-For-Word
You claimed that prayer wasnt being suppressed in school, by law. I then quoted the districts statement that said they did just that. And it was the law that required them to do so.
What do you think him losing his job due to praying does to every school employee in that district, that state, or the entire country???
"If you want to keep your job, dont pray at school"
