It should just miss the town of Harlan.

Yeah, and from Adair’s stream it looks like it may have lifted for now.

Multiple vortex and won’t die.
Edit lifting reluctantly.

The structure on that cell has gone to shite, but the entire "hook" area is a TDS.

That’s crazy…. A huge storm that just keeps on going….

These tornadoes today have been picturesque multi vortex tornadoes.

Parents house escaped without too much damage, one neighborhood over pretty much flattened. Mom was still at work in the hospital and they were calling people who were off to come in. I hope it’s mostly property damage, I’ve seen some speculation this will end up being one of the biggest tornadoes of the 2000s

This storm is going to be moving into radar no man’s land.

It should eventually get absorbed in all that mess and get cut off.

Are we going to end the EF5 drought today? We just brought it up a few days ago
Posted on 4/26/24 at 6:35 pm to LegendInMyMind
NWS calling the damage just west of Harland, IA “immense.”

Apparently Meteorologist Andy Hill goes by Ally when he's off the clock, not that there's anything wrong with that.

What if there is no ditch? What if you are in an area with many trees?
