re: Would someone please explain the crimes Trump committed?

When SCOTUS rules on the immunity case pretty much in favor of Trump -because at the very least they will kick it back to the previous court, which means it will not see the light of day again this election season - it will begin the inevitable process of creating tests for immunity that will never allow states, and their partisan actors, to harass Executives by exceeding their subservient roles.
This will happen and all the crying and gnashing of teeth will not stop it.
In the meantime, this ridiculous case by a local DA -while also not concluding on schedule to affect this election cycle- will be exposed as moot. But, more importantly, it will ultimately be squashed completely by the eventual SCOTUS refinements.
Again, this will happen regardless of all the crying and gnashing of teeth. The Constitution is more a political document guiding governance than some sort of mysterious and arcane legal Rosetta Stone to be understood by a coven of barristers.
SCOTUS must and will, ultimately, consider history -past and future- and not legal theory. Hell even Kagan and Sotomayor had pointed questions in this regard; the only one that didn't catch on was the token dingbat.
Barrett inserted the bare bodkin with a surgeon's precision. All of this lawfare is over but the crying.
Don't take my word for it. Just listen to the Democrat hacks who two days ago were still caterwauling about justice through the legal system and are today crying that SCOTUS is a partisan organ of the right (I'm talkin' to you, Raskins ). How the turntables...

Usually when people try to extort money for things that didn't happen people get out in front by contacting law enforcement and don't pay.
You've got a lot of experience with this?

He doesn't give a sh!t about the RNC/DNC uniparty.

17% in person Election Day voters for the potato.
47 million mail in ballots for Corn Pop. Come the frick on.

The wacky NY records law has an expansive view of fraudulent business records, and the allegation is that the obfuscations I posted above was fraud, per the statute.
But aren't the charges misdemeanors unless they prove that he falsified records in order to commit a crime?

You realize that was only in place because Trump himself signed The CARES act which provided the funding for drop boxes and mail in voting? It was legal. Furthermore, ballot harvesting is legal in some form in around 24 states.
The idea that Trump didn't get any mail in ballots is insane. He absolutely benefited and doesn't get near 74 million votes without it. Same goes for Biden.

That ignores the real problem. A ballot is not a fricking vote. A vote is the expression of the will of a sovereign citizen. A ballot is a piece of paper and there are so many cases where the custody, the authenticity and the timeliness of these "votes" simply can't be shown.

The falsified records would be the misdemeanor, based on state law. Then Braggs has to prove this was done violated campaign finance law, which is a felony.

You're one dense mofo.
No one is saying mail in is/was illegal. No one is saying Trump didn't get mail in votes. What is 100% indisputable facts is the 2020 election broke every single measurable "norm" for every election this country has ever held. And A dude that could barely keep himself lucid enough to get through one 20 minute debate got the most votes ever.
Sure, Jan....

But this case involves behavior committed prior to Trump being President.
Why would Presidential immunity apply to this case?
Also, even if it somehow applied, how is paying off a mistress via your company an official duty of the Executive?

Again, Trump was not President when the alleged criminal acts occurred.
Why would it be moot?

Trump got 10 million more votes than his previous election. Biden got 15 million more votes than Obama (remember he's the FIRST Black president) did in his first run for President. You can't be this stupid. And can you explain why all dead people voting vote Democrat?

This needs to be answered by Congress and the slush fund they used to do the same.

Has literally nothing to do with this case or my question.

Yes. Because of one reason. Mail in voting which Trump himself absolutely benefited from. The chart posted further proved it. Neither Trump or Biden get close to their vote totals without mail in voting. They have millions fewer without it.

32% of his votes were absentee or mail in. You can't be this stupid. He doesn't get that extra 10 million without mail in voting.

Why don't Statutes of Limitation apply here, misdemeanor charges are well-past expired. But is SOL for the supposed felony not just 5yrs?
Also, does this state case depend on proving violation of a federal statute, the Federal Election Campaign Act?

Would almost guarantee these as military.

Still not willing to admit that Trump benefited from mail in votes just like Biden did. Neither candidate gets close to their totals without it. The mere idea that only Biden benefited just isn't based in any statistical reality.
